As reports have it today, another Tech executive this time at Facebook Inc., Mike Vernal who is Facebook’s vice president of search and developer products will be leaving the social media giant to venture capital firm Sequoia asxsn early-stage investor.

He has been with Facebook for eight years all those times reporting directly to Facebook CEO- Mark Zuckerberg.

The social media giant is not planning to replace Vernal but will share his functions in-house managers.

Vernal in a post wrote: “It took me a while to really internalize the boldness of Mark’s vision… to get everyone on the Internet and to give them the power to share anything with anyone, One of the most important things I’ve learned at Facebook is that a small team of people with vision and drive can change the world.
