Kenya to Scale up public Wi-Fi in all 47 counties

Kenya- Telecompaper reports that the Government of Kenya is assisting its 47 counties to scale up the last few miles of  fibre connections to improve public Wi-Fi accessibility across the country.

Broadcasting and Telecommunications Principal
Secretary Sammy Itemere explained that county governments are joining hands with the central government to make available 3 more public Wi-Fi locations in the country.

He further explained that the brilliant pan will help Kenyans broaden their access to necessary information relating to their economy and business at large.

Much more, he said the government is carrying along private stakeholders in the project to develop stronger fibre-optic infrastructure.
